During COVID I was looking for a way to connect with talented women and launched Marion’s Table Talks – inviting women to the virtual table to share their stories. This community really saved me when we couldn’t be in person.

Marion's Table Talks is a speaker series that highlights talented women and invites female creatives to share their talents. Each talk features a female speaker who brings her talent to the table and inspires the community attending to share their talents with each other. We arrive with our talent and we leave with connections to women who have talents we need.
The Inspiration
My grandmother's name was Marion. Her business was making tea sandwiches and her dining room table was her headquarters. Every day women of all ages gathered at her table to support my grandmother's business. Some women cut the crust off the sandwiches, some rolled the bread, some spread the interior and some decorated the exterior.
Every woman seated at the table played a different role, but it was always my grandmother who brought the boxes of tea sandwiches to the door when her customers arrived to pick up their order, because my grandmother was the brand. The talented women at her table allowed my grandmother to carry every box.
